Agents killed by truck while stopping speeding driver

The driver responsible for filming and mocking the four dying police officers remains at large

Richard Pusey, a 45-year-old infamous mortgage broker who filmed four dying police officers in Melbourne, Australia, has been on the run since November 2023, facing court orders for violating legal provisions. He received an initial sentence of 10 months in prison for filming and mocking the police officers as they agonized at the scene of an accident in April 2020.

Richard Pusey was involved in the death of four police officers while recording instead of helping. Pusey, who had been pulled over for speeding, mocked all the officers run over by a truck whose driver was under the influence of drugs, expressing frustration over the damage to his Porsche.

The four officers who died in the tragic accident were Officer Glen Humphris, Senior Constable Kevin King, Senior Constable Lynette Taylor, and Constable Josh Prestney.

Later, Richard Pusey fled the scene and was arrested the next day. Despite serving 10 months behind bars, he was released. However, appeals have been filed by the families of the deceased officers to increase his sentence. Surprisingly, Pusey has ignored the hearings and is currently a fugitive from justice.

Meanwhile, the truck driver, Mohinder Singh, was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his actions under the influence of drugs and delusions, resulting in the death of the officers.

The families of the victims expressed disappointment in the duration of the sentence, considering Pusey "probably the most hated man in Australia."

Although the police have urged the public to provide information about Pusey's whereabouts, the man continues to evade justice, causing frustration and outrage among the authorities.
