Neighbor foils robbery in Llavallol and injures criminal with firearm

Last Saturday, August 31, an attempted robbery in a Chinese supermarket located on José street at 300, in Llavallol, ended with an 18-year-old criminal injured by a neighbor. The incident, which occurred around noon, was captured by a security camera in the area, and shows how four criminals arrived at the scene in a Suzuki Fun car.

One of them, armed with a toy gun, tried to rob a customer who was parked at the door of the store.

The customer, a 64-year-old man, was carrying a 9-millimeter caliber pistol that belonged to his brother. When he saw that the young criminal was still brandishing the weapon, the man pulled out the gun and fired twice.

One of the shots hit the assailant's shoulder, who fell to the ground wounded. The young man's accomplices, seeing what had happened, fled in the vehicle, abandoning him to his fate.

The wounded robber was immediately taken to Gandulfo Hospital, where he is hospitalized out of danger.

For its part, the Functional Investigation Unit (UFI) 11 of Lomas de Zamora charged the man who fired the shots with illegal possession of a firearm, although it did not order his arrest.
