A tragedy hits the fans of Deportes Tolima with the unfortunate news of the death of Laura Olaya Galindo, a fervent supporter of the team, in a traffic accident that occurred on the road to Puerto Boyacá.
The events took place at kilometer 2 of the road last Tuesday, March 26, in the morning, when Laura Olaya, a resident of commune 12 of Ibagué, was trying to get on a tractor-trailer along with other barristas. Tragically, she slipped and was hit by a tanker truck, losing her life instantly.
The group of barristas was heading towards Valledupar to support Deportes Tolima in its match against the Oil Alliance. However, this exciting adventure ended in a terrible tragedy, leaving Laura Olaya, mother of two small children, without returning home.
Friends and acquaintances mourn Laura's loss, remembering her as a passionate supporter of the Vinotinto y Oro team.
The authorities, after being alerted about the accident, went to the scene to remove Laura's body and facilitate its return to the musical capital of Colombia.
