Tragic accident on the Sardinata - Cúcuta highway: Leaves two fatalities

In an unfortunate road incident that occurred on the Sardinata - Cúcuta road, two young people lost their lives after violently hitting a guardrail in the last few hours.
Three men, who were traveling on a motorcycle, were involved in the tragic event, marking another unfortunate episode in the statistics of road accidents in Colombia.
According to preliminary versions, the fatal accident took place near the waterfalls, specifically at the Y Astilleros. It is presumed that excessive speed was a determining factor, since the young people lost control of the motorcycle, violently impacting one of the railings of the road.
The impact was so severe that two of the occupants died instantly, while the third involved was seriously injured and was taken to a healthcare center, where his state of health remains under a reserved prognosis.
The accident scene reveals the magnitude of the crash, indicating that, possibly due to the speed, one of the deceased was trapped between the railing tubes, while the other two lay on the pavement with noticeable cranial bruises.
