Incredible! Thieves argue over the robbery loot and one of them shoots him in the head

The loot contained 3 bags that contained 2 high-end cell phones, a tablet, two wallets, and sportswear

In Cúcuta, Edison Buanerges Lindarte Quintana, known as 'Tata', had been released from prison a few months ago after being captured for qualified and aggravated robbery in 2019. However, the authorities confirmed that he was continuing to commit crimes when they discovered that he was murdered in the Carlos Pizarro neighborhood.

Sijín investigators recognized Lindarte Quintana immediately when they arrived at the scene of the crime, at 12BN Street and 11 Avenue in Comuna 6. One of his accomplices reportedly shot him in the head after committing a robbery of a couple who had just arrived in a van at a house in the area.

The circumstances of the crime are unclear, as it seems strange that the criminals commit the robbery and then get into an argument that results in the murder of one of them. The authorities are collecting evidence to clarify what happened between the victim and the murderer.

The Cúcuta Metropolitan Police (Mecuc) had Lindarte Quintana, 30, identified as an alleged thief who operated in that area along with his accomplices. In 2018, he was arrested in the Prados del Norte neighborhood due to an arrest warrant for his participation in several motorcycle robberies through hauling.

The incident occurred around 7:10 in the morning when a couple arrived in a van at a relative's house on 12BN Street and 10th Avenue. The woman got out with her son in her arms and was approached by Edison Lindarte and others. two armed men. The criminals threatened the woman and the child with a weapon.

The man who was inside the truck gave the thieves three bags, which contained sportswear, two high-end cell phones, a tablet and two wallets. 'Tata' took two backpacks, but apparently he argued with the other criminals before escaping on the motorcycle.

According to witnesses, the criminals stood in the middle of the street for a few seconds, but suddenly, one of Lindarte's accomplices pulled out a weapon and shot him in the head. 'Tata' managed to travel a few meters on the motorcycle, but he collapsed in the corner and died shortly after while several witnesses observed the scene.

The Inter-Institutional Homicide Brigade (Brinho) arrived at the scene and Lindarte's sentimental partner also appeared, starring in a scene of crying and screaming. The authorities expect the woman to provide information to clarify the crime, since it continues to be a strange case.
