Confrontation with knives in Cartagena leaves one dead and one injured

A fight in the southwest of Cartagena, Colombia, has left residents in shock, leaving one man dead and another injured.

According to police reports, the confrontation took place in front of a well-known supermarket in the area, where two subjects, including a motorcycle caretaker, were involved in an altercation.

The deceased man, known for his work as a motorcycle caretaker at an Ara supermarket, was involved in a fight with knives and blunt objects with two other individuals in front of the establishment.

The dispute ended with the caretaker lying lifeless in the middle of a public street, before the astonished gaze of those who knew him and several curious onlookers present at the scene.

Meanwhile, one of the attackers was injured and was taken to a health center, where he is recovering from his injuries. The other individual involved in the confrontation managed to escape, but the authorities have already identified him and his immediate capture is expected.

The first police investigations suggest that the confrontation may have been triggered by a misunderstanding related to money, since the three individuals earned their living by taking care of motorcycles and cars that were parked outside the supermarket.
