Criminal gang terrorizes the neighborhoods of the port with threats and confrontations in Buenaventura

The videos show how these groups are heavily armed and willing to go to war

The city of Buenaventura, located in the department of Valle del Cauca, is plunged into terror due to a growing wave of violence carried out by criminal gangs in dispute for control of illicit businesses in the region.

Recently, a series of disturbing videos related to a gang calling itself "Rober's Gang" have been circulating on social media. In these videos, the criminals, heavily armed and hiding their faces with ski masks, issue direct threats towards other criminal organizations present in the area, making special mention of the Colombian group of the Mexican cartel known as "Jalisco Nueva Generación".

The members of this criminal gang, equipped with weapons of different ranges, pose in front of the cameras to proclaim their intention to "defend the community with blood and fire."

In their message, they specifically point out some neighborhoods in Buenaventura, such as "Progreso, Bello Horizonte, Bahía, Carlos Holmes", among others, and affirm that their actions will be aimed at repelling the presence of foreigners who come to commit crimes in their city.

"Jalisco does not exist here, Jalisco is in Mexico... we are Buenaventura," apparently warns the leader of the organization, made up mostly of residents of Afro-descendant communities in the Pacific.

Armed members raise their voices to declare that "no one who is not from here will enter our territory", thus sending a clear warning to groups trying to infiltrate the local environment to carry out criminal activities.

In the videos, you can see how the hooded men walk the cobbled streets of the city's peripheral neighborhoods, displaying their weapons as an intimidating sign to intimidate the local population and silence them. Bellowing threats against their adversaries and challenging their leaders, the criminals challenge other local gang members, mentioning individuals such as "El enano y el Titi", "Diego Solís y Zafa", as well as local groups known as the "Shottas, Espartanos and Chiquitos". These organizations are also part of the broad spectrum of criminal groups present in the area, all fighting for control of illegal activities.

The situation in Buenaventura is alarming, as terror has gripped the residents and violence seems to be on the rise. Local authorities have intensified efforts to contain this wave of violence and ensure the safety of the city's inhabitants, but they face a significant challenge in the face of the proliferation of criminal groups and the escalation of armed confrontations in the port neighborhoods.
