The main objective of the hitman attack was alias Adrián Pilot. The Police investigate the facts

On the night of Sunday, July 7, the Simón Bolívar neighborhood of the city of Barranquilla, Colombia, was the scene of an armed attack that left two people dead and two more injured. According to authorities, the main target of the attack was Adrián Jesús Escalante Delgado, alias 'Adriánpilot', 22 years old.

Escalante Delgado, who had a judicial record for homicide and was allegedly linked to the collection of extortion, was murdered along with Javier Miguel Liñán López, a 14-year-old minor who also lost his life in the incident.

The event took place at the 'Mango's Beers - Salsa y Verbena' establishment, where the victims were when an armed man entered and shot repeatedly. Braulio Omar Hincapié, 25, and Ronny Fernando Barrios González, 33, unrelated to the victims, were also injured and were taken to Camino Simón Bolívar to receive medical attention.

A security camera at the establishment recorded the moment of the attack, corroborating the witnesses' versions. The Metropolitan Police of Barranquilla has initiated an investigation to clarify the facts and determine the motives behind the attack, which could be related to a case of retaliation due to the criminal activities of 'Adriánpilot' for the collection of extortion.
