A 70-year-old man who masturbated in front of a minor goes to jail
The incident was captured by neighbors who alerted the police
A 70-year-old man was sentenced to nine years in prison for a sexual act against a minor in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Medellín in 2019, only today the sentence became effective.
The man approached a five-year-old girl, and leaned on the fence of a residential unit where the minor was. Unexpectedly, the man began to masturbate in front of the girl, committing an act of sexual violence against a child under 14 years of age, as stipulated in the Penal Code.
The inhabitants of the neighborhood quickly alerted the Police, who arrived in a short time and captured the man in flagrante delicto. Although the man was sentenced to nine years in prison, his defense appealed to the Criminal Chamber of the Superior Court of Medellín, which must now decide whether the sentence remains final.
