Stunning wingsuit jump from Täschhorn in the Alps

Johannes performed a wingsuit jump, despite his experience, he faced unexpected exhaustion during the flight

On September 1, the experienced Austrian extreme athlete Johannes managed to perform one of the most ambitious wingsuit base jumps to date, launching himself from the summit of the Täschhorn in the Swiss Alps. The thrilling flight, recorded on video, captured the majestic ride along the mountains, but was not without physical complications.

After years of planning, Johannes, accompanied by his friend Mario, ascended for about nine hours to the launch point, spending a night at the Mischabeljoch bivouac. Equipped with everything necessary for the mission, they faced a challenging climb until they reached the take-off site. Finally, at 10:30 in the morning, in perfect weather conditions, Johannes took the plunge.

Despite the excitement of the flight, the athlete began to experience extreme fatigue in his arms after 40 seconds of gliding, which forced him to adopt a more inclined posture than expected.

He attributed this unexpected problem to the altitude or the weight of the equipment, as he even lost feeling in his fingers. "I don't know what happened to my arms... it was a very demanding mission," said Johannes, visibly exhausted but relieved after landing safely.

In the landing area, his partner Antonia was waiting for him with a cold beer, which marked the end of an unforgettable but physically demanding day.

Although worried about the state of his arms, Johannes celebrated the successful completion of this ambitious challenge on one of the most imposing mountains in the Alps.
