On Friday, April 4, the city of Monterrey was shocked after the discovery of the lifeless body of Cindy Elizabeth Hernández Pérez, 36, known on social media as 'La Barbie Regia'. The woman, who was an influencer and creator of adult content, was found in her apartment located in the Leones neighborhood, west of the city, with signs of violence including bruises and a stab wound to the jugular.
The discovery was made by relatives and staff at her son's school, who went to the place after noticing that Cindy had not arrived to pick up her little one from the daycare center.
The tragic scene sparked a police investigation that, so far, has not located the victim's partner, who lived with her and her son at the same address.
Cindy, also known as Ana Fabiola Mty on platforms such as 'X' (formerly Twitter), Instagram and TikTok, had reached more than 100 thousand followers on her social networks.
On them, she promoted her content and shared videos following the latest fashion trends. In addition, she was a faithful admirer of the Tigres soccer team, proudly showing the club's shirt in many of her posts.
The case has caused a wave of indignation on social networks, where thousands of people have joined the cry for justice for 'La Barbie Regia', demanding that the facts be clarified and those responsible for her murder be found.
