In a statement through his social networks, Marín explained that the altercation occurred while he was filming with his girlfriend in the city center. According to his story, the conflict began when a man approached and began to shout obscenities at him, which provoked the anger of the actor.

"A fan arrived to get into my car, I didn't understand him very well, suddenly he started saying very obscene things to me, which I can't say here on Facebook, and I was like: 'What's up with this guy?' He left and I got out, my girlfriend pulled me…," Marín narrated in his video. The actor stressed that he is usually very respectful with his followers and that he does not tolerate disrespect towards him or his partners.

Finally, Marín announced that he will proceed legally against the man he confronted, arguing that the verbal aggression he suffered was unacceptable. "I spoke with my lawyer, this person will be sought and a complaint will be filed because it is not correct to attack people, and even less in the way that I cannot even mention here on Facebook," he said.
