Man suffers fatal cardiac arrest in hospital during medical consultation

In a tragic incident that occurred on Sunday, August 18 at 2:26 am in the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, a man identified as Sonu lost his life after suffering a cardiac arrest during a medical consultation at a private hospital in the Pardesipura area. The incident, which was captured by the hospital's security cameras.

Sonu, who had been feeling unwell, went to the hospital accompanied by some family members to receive medical attention. The CCTV images show Sonu talking to the doctor, who began examining him by placing a stethoscope on his heart.

During the consultation, Sonu complained of chest pain and the doctor proceeded to examine his eyes, while a relative tried to measure his blood pressure with a digital blood pressure monitor.

Within seconds, Sonu collapsed in front of the doctor, who at first did not understand the seriousness of the situation.

However, upon realizing what had happened, the doctor activated the code blue so that Sonu received emergency care. Despite being in a private hospital and the immediate efforts of the medical team to revive him, Sonu was declared dead at the scene.

The preliminary results of the autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was cardiac arrest. This tragic event could not have been avoided despite being in a medical environment with all the medical technology at its disposal.
