Neighbor from Ferrol is attacked in his house after asking a group of young people to make less noise in the street
A resident of Ferrol, Valentín, 58 years old, was attacked in the early hours of September 1 after asking a group of young Dominicans to make less noise in the street.
The events occurred on Magdalena street, in Ferrol (Galicia), around 5:30 a.m., when Valentín, annoyed by the noise, decided to call the attention of the young people, who were returning from a night of partying.
According to the victim's own account, the situation escalated quickly when, after Valentín threw a glass of water in the direction of the girl in the group due to the insults received, the young men decided to force their way into the door of the building where he lives.
They went up to his house and began to bang on the door while shouting and insulting. Faced with the possibility that the door would be knocked down, Valentín decided to open it, at which point he was immediately knocked to the ground and beaten.
The attack left Valentín seriously injured and with a disfigured face. After the attack, the authorities, both the Local Police of Ferrol and the National Police, went to the scene of the events. Valentín was immediately transferred to the Arquitecto Marcide Hospital, where he received medical attention.
The National Police has identified the Dominican attackers and is in the process of locating them to proceed with the corresponding legal actions.
