Three young people died and 14 injured after the collapse of the railing at the Rich club

Tragedy in San Luis Potosí: Railing collapses at the Rich club during a Kevin Moreno event. The authorities closed the place

San Luis Potosí, Mexico - On the night of Friday, June 7, a tragedy occurred in the capital of Potosí when a railing collapsed in the Plaza Altus, located on the outskirts of the Rich club, resulting in the death of three young people and 14 more injuries. The event occurred during the event where Kevin Moreno, a popular corrido tumbados singer, would perform.

The place, which was packed, saw dozens of people gather in the exterior corridors of the club, putting pressure on the glass railings that could not withstand the weight and caused the young people to fall from a height of 12 meters, equivalent to a third floor.

Witnesses recount chaotic scenes where attendees, mostly young people, ran disoriented, some with injuries, while others remained motionless on the ground.

Five of the injured were reported in serious condition and many more had nervous breakdowns. Security personnel quickly cordoned off the area, while those present helped the injured among the broken glass. On Saturday morning, the place was closed by the authorities.

Videos of the accident circulate on social networks, where users have pointed out the lack of preventive measures and non-compliance with the maximum permitted capacity as factors that contributed to the tragedy.

Who is Kevin Moreno?

Kevin Moreno, originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa, has gained popularity among young people for his corridos tumbados and iconic phrases like "Saquéenlas."

However, last night's presentation in San Luis Potosí was overshadowed by the tragic accident that left several of his admirers injured and three young people dead.
