Tattoo Artist Shoots Colleague Over Stolen Client

Muğla, Turkey - In the İçmeler district of Marmaris, a conflict between two tattoo artists turned violent when Muammer Güngör shot at Emrah Doğan's shop, leaving Doğan and his colleague Abdullah Dilgil seriously injured. The altercation, which began over a disagreement about clientele, ended with Güngör surrendering to authorities and being detained.

According to reports, the confrontation started when Güngör accused Doğan of "stealing" a client. The situation escalated quickly, resulting in a shooting at Doğan's studio. Güngör stormed into the shop and fired indiscriminately, hitting Doğan in the abdomen and Dilgil in the right leg.

Local residents immediately alerted emergency services, prompting a swift response from police and medical teams. Both injured men were transported to Marmaris State Hospital, where Doğan was admitted to intensive care due to the severity of his injuries, his condition remains critical.




Authorities confirmed that Güngör, who fled after the attack, surrendered at the police station an hour later. He was subsequently brought before the court and detained.

This was not the first confrontation between the two tattoo artists. Two months ago, they had a similar dispute, which was also captured by the shop's security cameras.

The Marmaris Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing to investigate the case to clarify all details of the incident.
