Tatiana Marset: This is the key woman in the circle of Uruguay's most wanted drug trafficker
Tatiana Marset, sister of drug trafficker Sebastián Marset, was arrested in Bolivia and is being investigated for her alleged involvement
The capture of Sebastián Marset in Bolivia not only shook international authorities but also put his inner circle under scrutiny. Among them is his half-sister, Tatiana Marset, whose story has begun to emerge.
Tatiana, a 22-year-old Uruguayan national, was arrested during the same operation in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, where anti-drug forces located one of the most wanted criminals on the continent.

Authorities maintain that the young woman was part of the logistical network surrounding Marset. Although she wasn't a visible figure within the organization, her constant presence in the places where the kingpin took refuge caught the attention of investigators.
Following her arrest, the court determined that she must serve at least six months of pretrial detention while the investigation against her continues. The case centers on possible links to arms trafficking and support for drug-related activities.

Tatiana's name began circulating widely in the media and on social networks after images of her capture were released. In them, she appears alongside other detainees, which increased interest in learning about her role within the network led by her brother.
The family history also raises questions. Although she is identified as Marset's half-sister, different accounts have cast doubt on the exact degree of kinship, adding an element of mystery to her role in the case.
Meanwhile, the investigation continues, with the aim of determining the extent to which her participation was secondary or if she had a more significant role within the criminal structure.
