Presenter suffers accident during live broadcast

Online presenter run over during live broadcast, the event occurred on the Qinghai Lake tourist line


This Wednesday, July 3, the online host known as "Yingying Hiking Tibet-Qinghai Line" was hit by a black commercial vehicle while broadcasting live from the side of a road in Tibet, China.

The broadcast, which began at 10:44 a.m., was abruptly interrupted at 1:20 p.m. when the car, traveling at high speed, tried to avoid colliding with another vehicle and, in its maneuver, hit the presenter. The incident occurred on the Qinghai Lake tourist line, near the city of Heimahe.

Video of the broadcast shows the presenter speaking as vehicles passed by her. Suddenly, there is the sound of a brake followed by a crash as the camera falls to the ground.




In the background, a male voice is heard saying, "She's still alive," "Hurry up and call the police," and "Don't fall asleep, can you hear me?" The presenter can be heard moaning, as the broadcast cuts off.

The Daotanghe traffic police brigade reported that the presenter was taken to Hainan People's Hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury.

Currently, she is in the hospitalization department. The incident is under investigation to determine the exact causes of the accident.

Yingying, with 64,000 followers on her streaming channel, had shared a video at 10:38 a.m. on the same day, in which she detailed her plan to walk 23 kilometers that day.
