Reynosa tamaulipas. - A tragic situation occurred on the afternoon of July 5 in a home located in Infonavit Anzaldúas, east of the city of Reynosa, when a 31-year-old housewife, mother of three minors, was shot in the head. . The woman, identified as Kasandra "G", was rushed to the Reynosa General Hospital, where she died after four hours of agony.
The event occurred when Kasandra's husband took her to the Red Cross facilities, claiming that she had accidentally shot herself.
However, after leaving her at the scene, her husband disappeared. Due to the severity of her injuries, her paramedics decided to immediately transport her to General Hospital.
The victim was identified by her parents, who indicated that Kasandra suffered from physical and psychological abuse by her husband. Despite separating from her and moving in with her parents, her husband convinced her to return to the marital home.
The authorities of the State Attorney General's Office are looking for the suspect to obtain her statement and continue the investigations.
