Woman run over during apparent racing competition

Last Thursday (February 1), in the city of Pontas de Pedra, Pernambuco, a woman experienced a shocking accident while walking with two friends. The victim's identity has not yet been revealed, but security cameras at a nearby residence captured the exact moment she was hit by a car belonging to an internet installation company.
The shocking images reveal the magnitude of the incident, with the woman being hit by the vehicle, throwing her several meters onto the sidewalk. After the collision, the victim's friends tried to help him, while the driver of the car fled without providing assistance.
According to authorities, the vehicle was being driven by company employees, who were allegedly participating in a type of "race" with colleagues in another car. During a risky overtake, the car ended up hitting the woman.
Minutes after the incident, another vehicle from the same company returned to the scene and tried to help the victim, who was lying unconscious on the sidewalk.
