Mexico: Clothing seller suffers violence in live broadcast

Thanks to the distress signal, the aggressor was arrested. She was injured but safe, thanks for the support of her followers

Last Tuesday, February 27, María Joaquina Robles González, known as Majo Robles, a clothing seller on the Facebook page "Majo Robles Boutique", experienced moments of terror during a live broadcast in which she was attacked by her partner .

The live broadcast, which began normally, became uncomfortable when Majo Robles' attacker entered her room and began throwing objects at her, showing her face in the broadcast before trying to hide. The situation worsened, and Majo Robles, faced with her continuous attacks, sent a signal for help in the face of abuse: raise the four fingers of the hand, keep the thumb glued to the palm and open and close the fist.

Quickly, the users of the page recognized the signal and provided support to Majo Robles, alerting the authorities. Within minutes, the aggressor was arrested for gender violence. Later, in another video, Majo Robles clarified the facts from a patrol car in Ciudad Judicial, Oaxaca, showing wounds on her face and nose.

The seller thanked her followers for their support and explained that the police would assess her injuries and take her statement to file a complaint against her attacker, identified as Jhonatan 'N'. Majo Robles expressed her fear and pain, revealing that she had previously attempted to escape, but she lacked the necessary resources.

The city council of San Francisco de Telixtlahuaca reported that they arrested the aggressor with the collaboration of the state and municipal police. Majo Robles, grateful, confirmed that her children are safe under police protection.

In the midst of the difficulties, Majo Robles requested financial support to overcome the situation, since her cell phone was destroyed during the attack.
