Teenage hitman killed in apparent settling of scores in Venustiano Carranza

A 15-year-old teenager, known as El Chicha de La Unión, was murdered in Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City

Mexico City was the scene of a murder when Deymar Vallejo, a 15-year-old boy known as "El Chicha" from La Unión, was executed in the Venustiano Carranza district. The teenager, accused of being a suspected hitman and extortionist, operated in the Morelos neighborhood, one of the most conflictive areas of the capital.

The events occurred last weekend on Hortelanos Street, number 12, where Deymar was chased and shot by alleged members of rival criminal gangs.

In a video circulating on social media, the young man's last moments of life can be seen. He is seen lying on the ground, seriously injured and in a pool of blood, while his sister, distraught, tried desperately to save him, asking for help and begging those present not to move him. Despite her efforts, the teenager died on the spot.

Deymar Vallejo was not unknown in the area. On social media, he was seen showing off firearms and motorcycles, signs of his alleged involvement in criminal activities. According to neighbors and acquaintances, "El Chicha" was part of La Unión, a criminal group related to drug dealing and extortion in the capital.

Journalist Carlos Jiménez reported that the murder could be linked to a series of score-settling between rival gangs that control drug trafficking and extortion in Mexico City. Authorities from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) and the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) are already investigating the case to clarify the motives of the homicide and determine if it is directly related to the young man's criminal activities.

After the murder, friends and acquaintances of Deymar expressed their farewell on social networks, with messages such as: "And since death is life, always together," which reflects the environment of violence in which the teenager was immersed.
