Young man arrived at a meeting and found death at the hands of an unknown person

On the morning of Sunday, November 3, in the Iracy Coelho neighborhood in Campo Grande, a meeting that was supposed to be a time of fun and celebration ended in tragedy. Marcos William da Silva Guido, 27, was killed in a cowardly act that left those attending in shock. The crime, recorded by security cameras, showed how a fight inside a party hall led to a fatal outcome.

In the images, Marcos can be seen sitting among friends, when suddenly the suspect, identified as Thiago Munis de Morais Santos, approaches, exchanges a few words and shoots him.

The violence did not end there; After the shot, Marcos was slapped as he tried to stay on his feet and staggered. In a last attempt to escape, he walked about 160 meters, but fell at the edge of Homero de Castilho Street, where he was found dead, leaning against a wall.

The testimony of Marcos' ex-partner highlights the sadness and disbelief at what happened. "He was a person with a wonderful heart. He did not deserve the cowardice they did to him. He came to that party just to die," she said in tears.

The woman also rejected rumors spread on social media that insinuated that the young man was involved in personal problems with other people. "They do not let him rest in peace with so many falsehoods," she said, asking for respect for Marcos' memory and for his mother, who also suffers the loss.

The person responsible for the tragedy, Thiago Munis de Morais Santos, is a man with a criminal record that includes two previous homicides, one of them in 2015 in the municipality of Coxim. He was seen fleeing the scene in a Volkswagen Saveiro, and remains at large.

Marcos' family and the authorities hope that he will be captured soon so that he can pay for his actions. "He didn't just take Marcos' life; he took away the peace of an entire family," stressed the ex-partner, recalling that the perpetrator of the crime had already affected other families in the past.

The police are still investigating the reasons that led to the tragic outcome of a night that should have been a celebration, and they urge anyone with information about Thiago's whereabouts to collaborate with the authorities for his prompt arrest.
