Young man dies after being stabbed by a young man related to drug trafficking

A night of drinking in Orellana ends in tragedy due to the death of a 22-year-old young man during a fight

The parish of Dayuma in Coca, Orellana, Ecuador, was shaken by a tragedy last Thursday, April 25, when a 22-year-old young man lost his life violently after being stabbed multiple times in the torso during a community party.

According to witness accounts, the party was in full swing, with the joy of alcohol and music in the atmosphere, when an argument between several young people turned violent. The situation escalated quickly and the young people armed themselves with knives and machetes, while those present recorded the chaotic scene with their cell phones.

In the middle of the confrontation, three young men were seen attacking one, but the aggressor brutally stabbed one of the three young men. After the attack, the attacker fled the scene, leaving the injured young man on the ground.

Despite the efforts of those around him to provide help, the ambulance never arrived on time, and the young man lost his life at the scene.

A friend of the deceased expressed his indignation in one of the videos recorded during the incident, lamenting the loss of a tireless and peaceful worker. The delay in the arrival of medical teams has generated criticism of local authorities, who do not have an ambulance available to respond quickly to emergencies like this.

The forensic team arrived at the scene to identify the deceased young man and transfer him to the local morgue. So far, authorities have not commented on the incident, but the community has identified the aggressor as a young man involved in the consumption and sale of illicit drugs. Despite complaints from the community, no arrests have yet been made in connection with the case.
