Influencer is shot dead while buying roast chicken

This Sunday, November 3, Gabriel Rodrigues da Silva, a 26-year-old known on social networks as the influencer "Bolinha", was murdered while trying to enter a roast chicken store in the Jardim Canguru neighborhood, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul.

The attack, captured by security cameras, shows the moment Gabriel crosses the street to go to the store and is surprised by an armed man wearing a helmet. Without giving time to react, the attacker fired several times and fled the scene with his accomplice who was waiting for him on a motorcycle.

The Military Police (PM) and the Specialized Police Station for the Repression of Homicide Crimes (DEH) responded to the emergency call shortly after the attack.

Fourteen bullet casings and three projectiles scattered around the scene were collected, as well as Gabriel's mobile phone, which was also hit by the gunshots. DEH agents seized the device for analysis, looking for clues that could clarify the motives behind this crime.

The case was registered by the authorities as qualified homicide, since an ambush and firearms were used to attack Gabriel at a time when he was completely defenseless.

Bolinha had recently been arrested, on October 14, in the city of Ponta Porã, on suspicion of participating in criminal activities related to the receipt of money of dubious origin. In addition, his record shows a history of illicit activities, which could be linked to this deadly attack.
