Victims of the massacre in Huitzilac, Morelos identified
The eight deceased people are identified, confirming that some of those affected were residents of the municipality
The Attorney General's Office of the State of Morelos has identified the eight people who lost their lives in the tragic armed attack that occurred in the municipality of Huitzilac, Mexico, confirming that some of the deceased were local residents.
According to the official statement issued by the prosecutor's office, the incident took place on May 11 at the 'Depósito Huitzilac', where an armed group opened fire on the people present in the establishment.
Among the victims are Efraín “N”, 30 years old, resident in Tepoztlán; César “N”, 43 years old, Félix “N”, 43 years old, and Isidro “N”, 29 years old, all of them domiciled in Huitzilac.
In addition, Berti “N”, 36 years old, Eduardo “N”, 33 years old, and Joel “N”, 50 years old, have been identified, who died while receiving medical care in hospitals in Cuernavaca. Although most of the victims have been identified, there is still one individual whose identity is yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, authorities continue to investigate the motive behind this attack, which has not yet been publicly revealed. To date, no arrests have been made related to the incident, and the identity of the perpetrators remains unknown.
