Man dies after being shot in the face while looking at his neighbor

In a tragic incident that has deeply affected the community of Apucarana, Pirapó, Brazil, Bruno Emídio da Silva Junior, 33, tragically lost his life after being shot in the face during a party in the early hours of Sunday, March 9th. The unfortunate event took place at a residence on Rua João Batista Judai in the Pirapó district of Apucarana.

According to witnesses, Bruno was enjoying the festivities when he heard gunshots originating from the neighboring house. As he attempted to ascertain the source of the commotion, he climbed onto a gas cylinder stand in an effort to see over the wall, at which point he was fatally shot in the face.

Upon receiving alerts from neighbors, local authorities swiftly responded to the scene. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Bruno was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A search warrant was promptly issued for the assailant's residence; however, the perpetrator had already fled. Authorities conducted searches for the individual's vehicle, a red Fiat Toro, believed to have been used for the escape.

During the investigation, a variety of firearms were discovered, including a modified .22 caliber shotgun, a 12-gauge shotgun, and assorted ammunition. Law enforcement officers, in collaboration with investigative units, personnel from the Medical Legal Institute (IML), and forensic experts, carried out necessary procedures at the scene.
