Man dies suddenly at nightclub
Police and the SAMU team attended the scene and confirmed the death. The case is being investigated by the Civil Police
On the night of Friday, July 12, a man, whose identity has not yet been revealed, died suddenly inside a nightclub in Ibatiba.
Witnesses reported that the victim was seen on the bottom step of the stairs when he fell after a woman approached him. At the time of the fall, the man appeared to have a rigid body.
Several people present rushed to check what had happened, while the woman who was with him made the sign of the cross and walked away from her "crossing herself."
The police were called immediately and found the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) team already at the scene, who confirmed the man's death.
The owner of the establishment reported that the victim had arrived at the location earlier and, upon returning, fell down the stairs. Another witness stated that the man had not consumed alcohol during his stay at the nightclub.
The forensic authorities were summoned to investigate the incident, which has been registered by the Civil Police as the discovery of a body. The body was sent to the Legal Medical Service of Venda Nova do Imigrante to perform the autopsy.
