Condominium security guard shoots courier and colleague

Itaquaquecetuba - Brazil. On the night of Wednesday, June 26, an event at the Arujazinho condominium, located on Avenida Guerra Junqueiro in Itaquaquecetuba, Greater São Paulo, resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old security guard.

According to the police report, the guard, in an apparent outburst, shot at a co-worker and a courier on a motorcycle who was making a delivery at the condominium.

The incident broke out when the security guard, without warning, opened fire on the two victims. The situation quickly escalated, and another security guard present at the scene intervened, shooting the attacker to immobilize him until the authorities arrived.

Military Police officers quickly responded to the scene of the shooting. The victims were taken to nearby hospitals where they received medical attention and are in stable condition.

The attacker, who was also injured, is hospitalized but under police escort. The case has been registered at the Itaquaquecetuba Police Station as attempted homicide.

Authorities carried out a thorough examination of the scene and the weapons involved. The aim is to clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the motivations of the security guard. Psychological tests for the guard are not ruled out.
