11-Year-Old Fan Suffers Burns During Actor’s Birthday Celebration

The celebration for the popular actor Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday turned tragic for a young fan on June 22nd in Neelankarai, Chennai. During an event organized at the Suganya Wedding Hall, the boy, identified as Krishvva, suffered burns on his hand while attempting a martial arts trick involving fire.

The incident, captured on video and widely circulated online, shows the boy performing the trick when his hand catches fire. A man beside him attempts to extinguish the flames by pouring water but mistakenly uses gasoline, intensifying the blaze. Fortunately, the people present reacted swiftly and managed to save the boy.

Krishvva was immediately taken to the hospital, where it was reported that he sustained 3% to 5% burns on his right hand. Despite the severity of the incident, the boy’s family requested the police not to take action against the event organizers.

This event proceeded despite warnings from actor Vijay himself, who had urged his fans not to organize celebrations due to a recent liquor tragedy in Kallakurichi.

In a statement from the official account of his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, Vijay expressed his dismay over the death of more than 25 people from consuming adulterated liquor in the Karunapuram area of the Kallakurichi district and asked his followers to refrain from holding festivities in his honor.

As of now, Vijay’s team has not released an official statement regarding Krishvva’s incident. Fans and the general public are hoping for a speedy recovery for the affected boy.
