Carolina Flores allegedly murdered by her mother-in-law in Polanco

The case of Carolina Flores Gómez, a 27-year-old former beauty queen, has shaken Mexico after details of her death inside an exclusive apartment in Polanco, Mexico City, were revealed.

It all happened on April 15, 2026, when Carolina was at home with her partner and her mother-in-law.

What began as a normal domestic argument suddenly escalated into a merciless crime: the young woman was shot to death inside the apartment.

The evidence points directly to her inner circle. Present at the scene were her husband, Alejandro, and her mother, Erika María Herrera, who is now considered the prime suspect in the crime.
