The victims, identified as Kendry Cesarina Soriano Minyetty, 27 years old, resident in the La Gallera sector, and Joelys Mota Henríquez, also 27 years old, resident in the Juan Pablo Duarte sector of the Higüey municipality, were leaving the center's parking area. when the event occurred. Joelys was visiting the area, sharing with family, according to an external source.

Reports indicate that the driver of a truck, identified by the victims' relatives as Víctor Vásquez, grazed the young women's motorcycle, causing an argument that culminated in the impact.

According to witnesses, Vásquez was accompanied by his wife, who is also supposedly involved in the incident.

The medical diagnosis indicates that Kendry Cesarina suffers a fractured hip and right ankle, closed thoraxabdominal trauma and multiple abrasions.

Joelys presents multiple trauma, blunt chest trauma, bilateral lung contusion, pelvic fracture and multiple lacerations.

Both are receiving medical attention at a private health center in Higüey and will be transferred to Santo Domingo due to the severity of their injuries.

The victims' relatives demand that the authorities locate the person responsible for the attack and assure that they will file charges for attempted murder.
