Cashier was threatened with a knife to the neck in a D1 store

A worrying incident of insecurity shook the municipality of Cajamarca, Tolima, when a cashier was the victim of a violent robbery in a D1 establishment.

The distressing episode was recorded on video by the premises' security cameras, showing how an individual, dressed in black and with his face covered, threatened the worker with a knife to the neck.

In the images, the moment of tension is clearly observed when the criminal enters the establishment and struggles with the cashier, who is desperately trying to avoid being injured by the knife. Unfortunately, in the altercation, the woman suffered an injury to her arm.

The theft, which occurred last Saturday, April 20, at night, was reported through the relevant authorities. According to the Ibagué Metropolitan Police, the entity that confirmed the incident, the thief managed to take nearly one million Colombian pesos ($250 approximately) from the establishment.

Fortunately, the cashier did not suffer serious injuries during the assault. Thousands of Internet users expressed their indignation on social networks.
