A Guadalajara Pharmacy cashier is cowardly murdered during an assault

On Monday, July 1, around 8:10 p.m., a cowardly assault occurred in the city of Uruapan, Michoacán, when two armed men entered a branch of Farmacias Guadalajara on Avenida San Francisco. The act, which culminated in the tragic death of a cashier, was recorded on the establishment's security cameras.

In the images, two individuals can be seen wearing distinctive clothing. One of them was wearing a white sweatshirt with the word "DIOR" and a hood covering his head, while the other was wearing a black sweatshirt with red on the shoulders and a black cap, with his face hidden behind a dark cloth.

The first assailant approached the cashier, identified as Anahí, and demanded her money with violent threats: “Give me everything you have or I'll break your neck and I'll shoot you. You have a second, a second, your mother's daughter." Without resisting, Anahí obeyed and handed over the money. However, the assailant, after simulating a blow with the pistol, shot him in the head in cold blood.

After the attack, the assailants headed towards the door. As they escaped, they shot again, wounding another cashier. This second victim, not identified in the video, managed to scream for help, attracting the attention of a neighbor who came to help her.

The authorities of Michoacán, led by the Secretary of Public Security, José Ortega Silva, reported on the arrest of three individuals responsible for the murder. Jorge R., 27 years old, and Juan L., 49 years old, were identified as the direct perpetrators of the crime. In addition, a third individual was arrested for supplying them with the weapon used in the execution.

The two cashiers were taken to the hospital; Unfortunately, Anahí lost her life due to the severity of her injuries, while her partner remains in critical condition.
