Altercation in a butcher shop in Tlalnepantla leaves a man seriously injured

The attacker, a 54-year-old man, was arrested and now faces serious charges of attempted murder

An altercation between two coworkers inside a butcher shop in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, ended in tragedy when one of the men stabbed the other with a knife. The incident, which occurred on October 1 at the "Carne Buena" butcher shop, has left the victim in serious condition and the aggressor arrested.

The conflict broke out at 11:48 in the morning on Hidalgo Street, in the San Javier neighborhood, while both workers were handling sharp tools to cut meat. According to authorities and a video circulating on social media, Juan Gabriel Correa, 54, lost control during a dispute with his coworker Victor "N."

In the video, Correa, dressed in a red jacket, is seen pushing his partner, causing the two men to engage in a physical fight. In the midst of the chaos, Correa stabbed Victor in the abdomen with a knife, causing serious injuries.

Although the victim tried to defend himself using work tools, the attacker did not continue with the attack and left the scene.

Shortly after, agents from the Tlalnepantla Public Safety and Traffic Police Station went to the site and managed to arrest Correa, who now faces charges of attempted murder, while the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) investigates the case.

Meanwhile, paramedics transferred Victor to a hospital, where he remains in intensive care due to the severe injuries to his intestines caused by the attack.
