Actor and stand-up comedian attacks his ex-partner in a pizzeria in Núñez

Sergio Raúl Sarria, a 41-year-old actor and stand-up comedian from San Justo, Buenos Aires, carried out an attempted femicide against his ex-partner in a "Big Pizza" establishment located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Núñez. The incident occurred last Monday, November 18 at 8:45 p.m., when Sarria entered the establishment, verbally assaulted the woman, burst into the kitchen and repeatedly wounded her with a knife.

The victim, with whom he shared a 23-year relationship and has an adult daughter, was helped by employees and clients who managed to partially stop the attack.

After the episode, she was transferred to the Pirovano Hospital, where she is out of danger. Sarria, for his part, tried to take his own life with the same knife, but was arrested by the City Police and sent to the hospital before being taken into custody at the 13B Neighborhood Police Station.

Sergio Sarria had stood out in the artistic field as an actor, comedian and content creator. On his Instagram account, with more than 1,300 followers, he presented himself as an enthusiast of the performing arts, sharing his participation in films such as *La vengance de Ambar*, *La secta del gatillo* and *Hombres de piel dura*. In addition, he managed a YouTube channel with more than 15,000 followers where he published humor videos, interviews and reactions.

In the days leading up to the attack, Sarria had invited his followers to attend the screening of *Exterminators 3*, a film that was expected to be released in December. However, he also hinted at his emotional crisis through Facebook posts where he expressed feelings of despair.

The case is being investigated by the Núñez-Saavedra Prosecutor's Office, headed by José María Campagnoli, and the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 29. Sarria faces charges of attempted homicide aggravated by gender violence. His judicial statement is expected in the next few hours.
