Grandfather murdered by a woman inside a motel in Cuautla

The 60-year-old man was murdered with a sharp weapon in a motel in Cuautla, Morelos, with serious injuries to the abdomen

A man of approximately 60 years was found dead in a room at the motel 'Solarium', located on the Mexico-Oaxaca highway in the municipality of Cuautla, Morelos. The incident was discovered when the staff of the establishment tried to request the vacating of the room that had been rented on Saturday night.

Upon entering, they found the body of the victim with deep injuries to the abdomen caused by a sharp weapon, and with abdominal organs scattered around the room.

According to authorities, the victim had entered the motel accompanied by a woman, and the room was expected to be vacated at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday. However, when the victim was not handed over, the motel staff decided to intervene at 8:00 a.m., finding the crime scene and immediately reporting it to the authorities.

Initial investigations by the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) and local police ruled out the possibility that the case was related to organ trafficking, denying rumors that circulated in the media.

According to forensic reports, the deep injuries to the abdomen caused the organs to be expelled naturally due to the severity of the wounds, with no signs of surgical extraction.

The motel and the room where the events occurred were secured to continue with the investigations, while the security cameras are reviewed and the corresponding inquiries are carried out to clarify the motives for the murder and the identity of those responsible.
