The Police thwarted an attempted assault on a valuables truck at the Nuestro Atlántico shopping center, located in the El Manantial de Soledad neighborhood.
According to the information provided by the authorities, at least four criminals who were traveling on motorcycles tried to carry out the robbery, but were alerted by the guards of the truck, who notified the Police.
The arrival of several Metropolitan Police patrols led to the flight of the thieves, who left the place without firing a single shot.
Although there was a moment of tension, due to the fact that some citizens who were in the shopping center experienced moments of panic, the situation was controlled by the authorities without registering injuries or victims.
The video shows the security truck guards being escorted by several policemen, who remained with weapons in hand until the danger was neutralized.
The thieves fled into the motorcycle parking lot, where it can be seen how they take the security guard by surprise and how a couple on a motorcycle innocently entered the shopping center without waiting for the heavily armed criminals.
The authorities are carrying out an investigation to find those responsible for this attempted assault.
