Hitman on a bicycle attacks man in broad daylight

Soacha - Colombia. In a shocking event that occurred in the municipality of Soacha, a 44-year-old man lost his life after being attacked by a hitman who was traveling on a bicycle. The incident was recorded on security cameras in the Juan Pablo I neighborhood, Carrera 23 B and Calle 47 C, where Leonardo Páez Ladino was brutally shot in broad daylight.

Around 1:40 in the afternoon, Leonardo left a house in the company of a woman. The images captured by security cameras show Leonardo walking calmly when, in a matter of seconds, he was surprised by a hitman who attacked him with a firearm.

The aggressor, dressed in a red and white jacket, approached quickly on his bicycle and shot at Leonardo, who did not have time to defend himself.

Witnesses to the crime report that two shots were heard, and in a few moments, Leonardo was lying on the asphalt. The deceased's partner, terrified, managed to take refuge in a nearby commercial establishment. The hitman, after committing the act, got up, took his bicycle and fled the scene at full speed.

The quadrant patrols were alerted and arrived at the point where they found the victim shot in the head. Despite the efforts of the medical staff at the Pablo Sexto Hospital, Leonardo Páez Ladino did not manage to survive.

So far, the authorities have not issued statements about the case, but an investigation is being carried out to identify the person responsible for the homicide and clarify the reasons behind this tragic event.
