National Police intervenes in an attempted robbery and discharges one of the two criminals
The surviving offender is being prosecuted for various aggravated crimes
During the night of June 9, 2023, an incident was recorded in the Pilarica neighborhood of the Robledo sector, where members of the National Police were involved in a confrontation with two individuals who were allegedly committing a theft. According to official reports, as a result of the confrontation, both suspects suffered injuries.
Due to the seriousness of the injuries, one of those involved lost his life at the scene, while the other was transferred to a care center to receive medical attention. The surviving individual is being prosecuted for the crimes of qualified and aggravated theft, manufacture, possession and trafficking of firearms, as well as violence against a public servant.
