Woman cheats on doctor she met two days ago through dating app and steals him

One block from the doctor's building, three men were waiting for the woman to escape

A doctor in northern Bogotá became the latest victim of an elaborate scam and drug scheme perpetrated by a woman through a dating app. The alleged criminal, identified in the profile as Laura Uribe, about 25 years old, managed to persuade the health professional to have the first appointment take place at the doctor's house, located in a residential complex in the town of Usaquén.

The authorities, after capturing the young woman, had access to the calls, voice notes and messages exchanged between the victim and the scammer, revealing shocking details of the modus operandi.

The chats began on November 20, with insistence on the part of the woman that the appointment be made at the doctor's home, making her intentions evident. The woman, whose profile showed suggestive photos of her, managed to convince the doctor to pick her up and take her to her apartment.

Chats between the woman and the doctor

Laura: Hello, how are you?

Laura: Hello, how are you doing, would you like us to meet?

Doctor: Nice eyebrows

Doctor: I wish I could meet you.

Doctor: Tell me, in which part of Bogotá do you live?

Laura: In Castile. And you?

Doctor: Let's talk on WhatsApp. You can today? If you want I'll pick you up and we'll go eat

Doctor: I just left the gym and I won't get up early tomorrow.

-- The woman later insisted on breaking the date --

Laura: What are we going to do? Because then I'm going to my cousin's, or tell me if you'll pick me up.

Laura: That's why I told you, I mean, you already made me fix it and everything and now you're telling me to leave it like this.

-- The doctor was suspicious at first, but ended up agreeing to the appointment --

The first date went as planned, but a block from the building, three men were waiting for the scammer. After consuming a few drinks, the doctor began to feel unwell, at which point the woman attempted to leave the scene. However, the security guard alerted the police when he questioned her, revealing that the electronic equipment she was carrying was the property of her doctor.

The commander of the Usaquén Police, Rubén Gaitán, confirmed that the doctor had ingested substances that brought him almost to a state of unconsciousness. In the medical report, it was revealed that he had consumed benzodiazepines and scopolamine. He is currently stable and recovering in the hospital.

The woman has been arrested and taken to the Paloquemao URI. The authorities continue to investigate this fact to obtain all the evidence for the prosecution. The authorities are looking for the three men who are the woman's accomplices.
