Man shot dead: Authorities investigate crime caught on video

A tragic event shook the municipality of Maicao, in La Guajira, where Yuldor Iguarán Gutiérrez, known as "El Piru", lost his life after being shot by two unknown men who were traveling on a motorcycle. The crime occurred in broad daylight, in the Altos del Divino Niño neighborhood, specifically on Carrera 31 with Calle 15.

According to testimonies, the victim, a man dedicated to informal transportation by motorcycle taxi, had arrived at the place with the intention of visiting his sister. While waiting in front of the house, he was intercepted by the attackers, who shot him repeatedly. Iguarán fell to the ground seriously injured and died before the neighbors could help him.

Units from the National Police and the CTI of the Prosecutor's Office went to the scene to remove the body and collect evidence. Although search efforts were undertaken, it was not possible to locate those responsible.

Relatives of the victim assured that Yuldor had no enemies or personal problems, which has led the authorities to investigate possible motives related to criminal acts in the area.

The case has generated even more commotion after the dissemination of a disturbing video on social networks. In the images, recorded from the perspective of the hitman, the moment of the attack can be seen. In the material, the attacker mentions acting "on behalf of Chily," a possible criminal leader, and then flees without showing remorse. This viral content has caused outrage in the community and fear of the possible increase in violence in the region.

Iguarán's family has demanded justice and demanded that the authorities redouble their efforts to capture the culprits.
