Two minors lose their lives in Gravity Bike accident

This Saturday, March 16, a tragedy hit the road that connects Popayán with El Tambo, in the department of Cauca, Colombia, when two minors lost their lives in an accident while practicing 'gravity biking'.

The fatal event took place in the El Charco village, in the sector known as La Chorrera, Cajete.

The incident was recorded in a video where four young people can be seen descending at high speed along the road while practicing 'gravity biking'.

At a turn on the curve, one of the young men collides with a dump truck. Cries of despair fill the air as the seriousness of the accident becomes evident.

Two of the minors lost their lives at the scene of the accident, while the other two were rushed to the Susana López de Valencia hospital in Popayán. It is reported that the survivors underwent surgery, although their health remains critical.

As for the driver of the dump truck, it is reported that he had to be protected and taken from the place due to the threat of being attacked with a knife, according to the first reports.
