After several days in intensive care after being the victim of an armed attack at a private party in Cali, DJ Exotic remains in critical condition. The attack took place at the 'Rey de Corazones' motel during a private celebration after the Arcángel concert on November 3.
Despite medical efforts and multiple surgical interventions, his health remains compromised, and the artist remains in the Intensive Care Unit.
The Cali Metropolitan Police, under the command of Colonel Carlos Oviedo, has reported progress in the investigation and the capture of two suspects. One of them, alias "La Maravilla", has a criminal record and will be prosecuted for illegal possession of a Glock-type weapon, allegedly used in the attack.
The other detainee is being investigated for his possible co-authorship in the murder of another person found at the scene of the attack.
Marcela Reyes, in a recent Instagram post, denied rumors of DJ Exotic's death, confirming that the artist continues to fight for his life.
This comes after important media outlets such as Infobae, RCN and Red+ Noticias prematurely released the news of his death. Reyes clarified that, although his condition remains critical, the family remains hopeful and asks his followers to be cautious and respectful in the face of speculation.
