Father and son arrested for injuring a nun during a robbery in Floridablanca

In Floridablanca, a new act of violence occurred on Friday afternoon when a father and his son injured two women, including a nun, during a robbery in the streets of the city. According to the authorities, the attackers used a firearm in the incident.
After receiving a call from the community, the National Police managed to capture the two individuals, confiscating the weapon they were carrying, as well as the victims' belongings. The Bucaramanga Police Operations Commander strongly condemned these acts of violence and stressed the importance of rapid police action to ensure the capture of those responsible.
According to the authorities' report, during the robbery, the criminals shot a nun in one of her legs, while the other woman was hit with the butt of the weapon.
After her arrest, the two subjects will be presented before a guarantee control judge, who will determine their judicial situation. In addition, the community reacted energetically and burned the motorcycle used by the criminals.
The wounded nun was transferred to the Guane Clinic in Floridablanca, where she is receiving specialized medical care to treat the gunshot wound to her leg.
