In the last few hours, the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police managed to capture a 22-year-old woman, known by the alias 'Angie', for her alleged participation in a homicide that occurred on February 9 on 31st Street with Carrera 17, also known as the 'Bronx' street in the center of Bucaramanga.

The tragic event was victimized by Raúl Ómar Rengifo Gómez, 50, nicknamed 'Mincho'. According to versions compiled by the Police Sijin, the conflict between the woman and the victim began minutes before the murder, when apparently 'Mincho', under the influence of alcohol, went overboard with 'Angie' and touched her buttocks in a establishment near the Centennial Park.

The offense did not go unnoticed by 'Angie', who, outraged by the situation, alerted several acquaintances about the incident. These, in the company of 'Angie', chased 'Mincho' to Calle 31 with Carrera 17, a sector known for the presence of hallucinogen vendors and users.

Once intercepted, "Mincho" received a wound in the precordial region from one of the subjects, which left him seriously injured. Despite the attack, seconds later, two other motorcyclists joined the attack, kicking him several times and hitting him in the face and head.

Despite the efforts of the residents of the place, who helped him and transferred him to the Santander University Hospital, 'Mincho' died hours later due to the seriousness of the injury.

The authorities managed to capture 'Angie' in the Bucarica neighborhood of Floridablanca, identifying her as one of those responsible for the murder of 'Mincho'. This case was qualified by the authorities as an act of social intolerance. The investigation process is expected to continue to fully clarify the facts and determine the responsibilities of all those involved in this tragic episode of violence.
