Black Ober's tantrum while being transferred to his new jail

'Never before had he been handcuffed with his hands and feet' he calls on the director of the penitentiary entity for the violation of his rights

The leader of the criminal gang 'Los Rastrojos', Ober Ricardo Martínez Gutiérrez, known as 'Negro Ober', was transferred from the Palogordo prison in Santander to a cell in La Dorada, Caldas, after publishing a video in which he threatened various merchants. In the video, "Negro Ober" is heard saying that he had never been handcuffed before and calls the director of the prison.

In the images released by Inpec, the 'Negro Ober' is observed being taken out of his detention center. This transfer occurred after the man made several threats against the merchants. In response to the facts, Colonel Daniel Fernando Gutiérrez, general director of Inpec, affirmed that forceful decisions were made to guarantee the safety of the citizenry and of 'Negro Ober' himself.

In addition, Gutiérrez indicated that he gave instructions to the Inpec staff at the Caldas prison to avoid similar situations in the future. "We are studying the possibility of whether he is still there or continues to another establishment, but we have given clear and precise instructions to the director and the entire guard to prevent these unfortunate events from continuing," said the colonel.

Gutiérrez also reported that the director of the Girón establishment, where 'Negro Ober' was located, was removed due to his omission in the events that occurred over the weekend in the town. The safety of merchants and citizens in general is a priority for Inpec and all necessary measures are being taken to guarantee it.
