Attack at private party leaves renowned DJ Exotic seriously injured

In an event that has caused great impact in Colombia, DJ Exotic was seriously injured after an attack with a firearm at a private party held at the 'Rey de Corazones' motel, on the Cali-Jamundí road.

In the early hours of November 3, a series of shots broke out in the celebration, leaving one dead and two injured, among them the renowned DJ Exotic, a popular figure on social networks and the music scene of Valle del Cauca.

The party, organized to end the concert of the reggaeton singer Arcángel in Cali, brought together more than 100 attendees, complicating the identification of those responsible.

Amid the confusion, several videos captured the moment when DJ Exotic was hit by gunfire while playing music. Initially, it was speculated that a fight had caused the shooting; however, investigations by the authorities and security camera recordings suggest a possible premeditated attack.

DJ Exotic, also known for his past relationship with DJ Marcela Reyes, was taken to the Valle del Lili clinic with multiple gunshot wounds. His condition is serious, and he was later taken to Bogotá to receive specialized care. Reyes, the mother of his son, made a call on social media requesting respect for her family and avoiding speculation about the attack.

Security images outside the motel show armed people evacuating the wounded, which has reinforced the hypothesis of a settling of scores or a pre-existing conflict.

The Cali Metropolitan Police continues to collect testimonies and evidence, including weapons seized at the scene, to clarify the motive for the crime.
