In an event that has shocked the municipality of Bello, three individuals were vilely murdered and one more was injured in a brutal attack that occurred in a local restaurant. The event took place in the Zamora neighborhood, in the busy area of 22D Street and Carrera 45, near the Zamora service station, right on the border with the city of Medellín.
The attack was carried out at approximately 1:20 p.m. on this Friday, November 3, when the diners were in the middle of their lunch. According to preliminary reports, two individuals aboard a motorcycle arrived at the scene; One of them got out of the vehicle and opened fire on those present, leaving three people dead and one seriously injured, who was promptly assisted and taken to a medical center.
The operational commander of the Metropolitan Police, Colonel Eddy Sánchez, described the attack as indiscriminate and devastating, happening just minutes after the victims arrived at the restaurant. Authorities are already reviewing security cameras in the area, which have provided crucial clues about the perpetrators and the vehicle involved, a blue Suzuki DR 150 motorcycle.
The Metropolitan Police has intensified its presence in nearby communities and is on high alert while the investigation and search for those responsible continues. The victims, whose identities have not yet been disclosed, have been taken to Forensic Medicine for the corresponding identification procedures.
