Mayor of Bucaramanga demands measures after broadcast of video for adults in public park
Jaime Beltrán demands severe sanctions for those responsible and calls for collective conscience about respect in public spaces
La Flora Park, a leisure and recreation space for hundreds of families in Bucaramanga, Colombia, has been involved in controversy after the dissemination of a video for adults recorded in its facilities.
The 13-minute footage, which explicitly shows a couple having sex, has generated outrage among residents of the Terrazas and La Floresta neighborhoods.
Faced with this reprehensible act, the mayor of Bucaramanga, Jaime Beltrán, has expressed his strong rejection of it and has urged severe measures to be taken against those responsible.
"It's time to give them a day," declared the local leader, appealing to the conscience of the citizens. Beltrán emphasized that this type of behavior is unacceptable in a public space intended for the enjoyment of the community, where families with children and pets usually gather.
The mayor has requested a thorough investigation to identify and punish the authors of the video, stressing that they deserve not only a financial penalty, but also a moral and cultural condemnation.
"Public space belongs to everyone. The family plays there, children pass by," Beltrán emphasized, calling for reflection and collective awareness about the importance of preserving dignity and respect in these places of coexistence.
